The Jabra Sport Rox Wireless earbuds are now available in Malaysia at select stores nationwide, for the retail price of RM469. It is not dissimilar to the Jabra Rox Wireless earphones, except that Sport Rox Wireless is built for durability on top of the sound quality, therefore it doesn’t compromise on sound and could take a beating when using it during workouts.
Sport Rox comes with an armband in the packaging, and the earbuds itself have an IP54 rating that are both dust-protected and splash-resistant. According to Jabra, the pair are also sweat- and stormproof, meeting the US Military dust, rain, sand, and shock standards. The earbuds are built with “solid steel” and just like the Rox Wireless, this sports variant also comes with in-ear buds, with a selection of interchangeable EarGels and EarWings to ensure a tight fit.
The speakers are powered by Dolby and the earbuds also support tap controls to play-pause music, adjust volume, and take calls.
Also, it has one unique feature where if you clip the two buds together, it’ll go into a standby mode, saving the battery life. Just pull them apart to resume connection again.
