Last Saturday, LEGO Malaysia introduced LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS, its latest addition to its range of series/themes. NEXO KNIGHTS revolves around a medieval kingdom that is set in a futuristic world. There are 17 detailed building sets from the series, and prices for the products go from as low as RM 39 to RM 499. Products are available now at LEGO Certified Stores in Malaysia, which can be found at The Curve in Mutiara Damansara, Bangsar Village, Empire Subang, IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, Setia City Mall, and Queensbay Mall in Penang. The series can also be found at Toys “R” Us, Hamleys, AEON, Isetan, Parkson, Box of Bricks nationwide, and of course at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort.

The launch event, which also marked the beginning of its roadshow dubbed the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS ACADEMY, is the first to be held here in Malaysia, making us the first country to host such an event in South East Asia as well. This so-called academy is now open to public at Mid Valley Megamall’s Centre Court until the 20th of March, and will allow visitors to physically experience the Kingdom of Knighton.
LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS and the Kingdom of Knighton tell the story of five young brave knights who take on Jestro (the royal court’s evil jester), his Book of Monsters, and his Lava Monster Army. The knights do so by unlocking exclusive power-ups and by building new shields that will help them as they wage battles against the enemy forces.
The LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS ecosystem consists of LEGO buildings sets, a 20-episode animated television series, and a digital gaming app with a story-driven game play. Players (or newly appointed knights) will have the option to download up to 170 unique NEXO KNIGHTS power-ups that will be scattered across the Kingdom of Knighton. These knight shields can be found in both physical and digital forms, which includes from sources such as building sets, print ads, books, comics, as well as the animated TV series using the LEGO KNIGHTS: MERLOK 2.0 app. The app is available now for free on App Store and Google Play.
