Just like most app stores, Windows Phone Store will occasionally have discounts and even free apps from publishers, and this time around it is Disney and Gameloft’s turn. All of them are games, since both publishers don’t really develop apps other than games.
Note that most of these games are all for Windows Phone 8 only. As always, all good things must come to an end, and the promotion for Disney games expires on June 24th, while the Gameloft promotion ends on June 30th.
Disney
You can’t really go wrong with Disney’s games. While they are all usually catered more towards the children demographic, some are equally as challenging and fun for adults too.

I should point out that for these Gameloft games, they’re only free for a few Nokia Lumia devices, namely Lumia 625, Lumia 1020, Lumia 1320, and Lumia 1520. This offer is only valid for the US version of the Store, so you will have to change the phone’s region from Malaysia to United States to be able to get these games for free.
Only Assassin’s Creed, Brain Challenge, Earthworm Jim, and Let’s Golf 2, support Windows Phone 7.5. Every other games including the Disney ones above require Windows Phone 8 and above.

If you have a Windows Phone 8 device, it is a no-brainer to download these games, even if the games are not for you. Once you’ve downloaded them, you will still get to keep the games when the promotion ends, since they’ll be tied to your Microsoft account already.
